Terms of Use

Terms governing access to and use of the Canadian AI website, analytical products, benchmarks, research and public digital resources.

Website Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Canadian AI™ website operated by Canadian AI Software Inc.. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

Website purpose

The website provides information about Canadian AI, its services, research, frameworks, case studies, analytical products and public digital resources. Website content does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, partnership or other professional relationship.

Intelligence Landscape and analytical outputs

The Canadian AI Intelligence Landscape may include observed third-party data, modelled estimates, indices, benchmarks, rankings, readiness measures, sector scenarios and other analytical outputs. Unless expressly identified as an observed third-party statistic, these outputs are Canadian AI analytical model outputs. They are not official government statistics, certifications, audited ratings or determinations by a regulator, standards body or public authority. Jurisdiction-level results are intended to compare ecosystem indicators and are not government performance rankings or evaluations of ministries, agencies or public institutions.

Rankings and model interpretation

Jurisdiction rank is determined by the metric selected in the interface. A Composite rank reflects the composite metric; an AI Adoption rank reflects the AI-adoption metric; and other tabs rank the selected readiness measure. Model-confidence classifications describe source coverage, recency, geographic specificity and consistency of available evidence. They are not statistical confidence intervals.

No professional advice or high-stakes reliance

Website content and analytical outputs are provided for research and informational purposes. They do not constitute legal, investment, financial, accounting, cybersecurity, regulatory, medical, procurement or other professional advice and should not be relied on as the sole basis for regulated, safety-critical, investment, legal, procurement, clinical or other high-stakes decisions.

Accuracy, completeness and warranties

Canadian AI seeks to present sources and modelling status clearly, but analytical products necessarily involve assumptions, estimation, source limitations and changing evidence. To the maximum extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that website content, estimates, benchmarks, rankings, datasets or analytical outputs are error-free, complete, current, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

Third-party datasets and attribution

Some analytical products incorporate information licensed or published by third parties. Those sources retain their respective rights and are independently attributed. Inclusion of third-party or government information does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation or official status. Users should review the applicable Sources page and the source provider’s terms when reusing third-party information.

Methodology changes and historical revisions

Canadian AI may refine analytical assumptions, source mappings, classifications, model architecture and display methods as new evidence becomes available. Historical estimates may therefore be revised. Material corrections or revisions are handled under the Data Corrections Policy and may be identified by an updated data-status date.

Research, frameworks and case studies

Research, forecasts, frameworks, examples and case studies may contain judgments, assumptions or information available at a particular point in time. References to organizations, technologies or public institutions do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or a client relationship unless explicitly stated.

Intellectual property and acceptable reuse

Unless otherwise stated, Canadian AI website design, text, analytical presentation, proprietary model outputs, reports, frameworks, visual elements and brand assets are owned by or licensed to Canadian AI Software Inc. or the applicable rights holder. Ordinary viewing, citation and linking are permitted. Reproduction, scraping, republishing, resale, systematic extraction or commercial reuse of protected Canadian AI content requires permission except where permitted by law. Third-party source data remain governed by their own licences.

Acceptable use

You may not use the website to violate law or third-party rights; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security, availability or operation; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person or organization; or use automated access in a manner that materially burdens or disrupts the site.

Third-party links

The website may link to external publications, data providers, platforms or services. Those resources are controlled by their respective operators. Canadian AI is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canadian AI and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the public website or analytical outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Corrections

Questions about a source, estimate or possible material error may be sent to info@canadianai.ai. Please identify the jurisdiction, metric, source or page involved and provide supporting information where available.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
